Hi, top-notch HK kit with metal landing gear and Master gun barrels. I'm planning to do plane from Europe - "Skonk Works", with repainted invasion stripes.
Important note, this box has only engines with side exhausts, so many schemes are not compatibile!

Wanted to do it mostly from the box use only Eduard seatbelts, close bomb bay, show one engine and open nose hatches.

Nice that HK provides nose weight. Master gun barrels as always - beautifully rendering real ones, landing gear requires some work with Dremel.

... but not so nice - kit is not containing underwing bomb racks, which are clearly visible on this plane. They are in new box with clear nose.

I'm looking for interior painting tips, ANA 611 Interior Green with Zinc Chromate Yellow inside bottom compartments?
A-20 from 1942 recovered in 2008 seems to have little or no such colors inside.

Due to incorrect markings in decals set (original plane had another serial number with 6 digits) I decided to go for airframe from Pacific. This is A-20H version with more powerful R-2600-29 engines (kit ones are as I know R-2600-23) - what is good that it differs only in small details. Photo shows all - code numbers, tail letter and had black stripe on the nose - this will add plenty to overall model look.

I found mega photo session for A-20H, interior is very well seen:

Yahu detail set for this plane is comprehensive has not only IP but side panels and side plates.

There is a need to add some reinforcement to tail doors, as they have no real support.

Cockpit painted, bottom mg and turret to be added later. I painted inside with Hataka A611 Interior Green, but I mixed it with light grey to brighten inside. After closing darkness will not consume all the details.

I placed magnets to easily unjoin nose - this will help in painting stage and storing this not tiny model.

Update, engines finished, I closed one, and open another. Engine cover is divided into 7 pieces, and what is not good it all not fit perfectly together, nothing fixable with bit of sanding but not quality I expected. In box there is rear piping.

Landing gear required some sanding, it is made from soft metal and only thing which is needed is sanding paper and needle-shaped grinding burr.
