shadowmare Posted June 28 Posted June 28 (edited) GWH kit is fantastic, pays tribute to, in my opion most beautiful US plane from WWII, main drawback is PE - very thin and because of that very hard to work with. There is suprisingly lack of many details in cockpit too. Added: - Eduard photo-etched parts in the cockpit, - additional cockpit details, - flaps (Eduard set for the Hasegawa kit), - scratch-built radio and headrest, - open inspection panels on the underside, - Master set (machine guns + Pitot tube), - Montex masks (shark mouth), - additional magnets near the inside spinner. geedubelyer Posted June 28 Posted June 28 Superb model. Thank you for sharing. For your information, some of the images (Imgur?) are not visible in some regions and appear as large purple blocks.
petrov27 Posted June 28 Posted June 28 Fantastic result there - really great! Yes I would agree on your critisisms of the kit - the etch parts are somewhat odd - just adding I wish they would have treated the windows behind the cockpit differently

Cicchino Posted June 30 Posted June 30 Love it! Waiting for John Wayne to run out to it, failing eyesight and all for that one last sortie! I have the kit in the stash and it keeps staring at me, I hope when I do build it, I can do the same level of justice you did with yours. Very Very nice! Regards John shadowmare 1
