Allright little done, and alot of looking at reference material, and the manual is hmm full of errors, and missing steps, oh well doesnt matter, so some scratch to make the tailwheel in right place and in level.

 

 

 

And yes..many pieces, upgraded with alu tube.

but is the top color green? oh well ,still very interesting to look at.

This is what 3.5h of labour looks like, 

 

the fit were indeed horrible, the canopy and tail, but now all lines up and no gaps, so it now the in the past.

 

must admit this build sure got to be very addictive indeed for me, lol turns out once again to be Mals Obsession.

Did you put ketchup on it?  C'mon now.  Mustard, onion, relish for a basic dog.  Wrap it in bacon and grill if you wanna church it up.😋

Mustard, Heinz Ketchup, minced pickled cucumber and roasted onion.

 

 

No bacon...gets to greasy lol.

 

theese hot dogs are for warm water, broth, bayleaf, and onion,carrot let it soak heat up, then put em hot dogs for a while to soak. then serve in bread and toppings

That looks like a very deserved hotdog Mal, I've heard thise Micro Mir kits are difficult to deal with and looks like you have tamed it very well.

 

On another note on this build, As its Orange its a Japanese trainer but these things were a one way ride or am I missing something?

The trainee does not have any rockets, and yes reused as its a trainee, as you can see a ski, and support arch on the sides, and yes reused.

 

 

Theese were one way ticket and "boom"....no ski and no arch on them wings.

 

 

Yes the kit is hmm indeed a shortrun, and havent found any finnished Mikromir Ohka online, as looked for it and to get heads up on issues, wich there is ALOT and the manual, that is something else, no complete and very very messy, no assembly instructions and so on, but hey if patience and caution well figure it out.

 

The first glance, very nice indeed, but after a while more errors in fitting and all that.

 

But must admit, even all bad things, i see it positive, as this project, is indeed addictive, in positive way, as mentioned this turns out to be "Mals Obsession" once again.

 

And no, frustration and struggle is banned in this project.

 

I see solutions instead of problems, that makes all way more easy.

 

For those that think its a walk in the park modelkit, i say stay away from this and keep to Tamiya.

 

For those that like and enjoy a challenge, i do highly recommend this kit so far, but some experiance is needed and used to scratch as there is no AM available for this kit.

Looks like ill get some benchtime this evening.

 

Will focus on taking up holes for the ski gear, and those are marked on the kit, only in the manual, and do only want to cut once not twice 😁

Those little PE , yikes Mal.  My eyes hurt just following this.  Great work on this.

As its summer, and the build pace goes little slower, as do spend time at country house.

 

got little bench time.

 

Yaih look at all that flash, lol...

 

 

Now here is the thing, the plastic is little harder, and yes little more brittle, so need to be careful so not to brak or damage it, and now cleaned, yes crisp indeed restored details with a real thin saw blade.

 

 

 

 

Here is one thing i put money on, material, that sure take builds forward alot, Plastic card, Brass/Alu tubes and rods, sheets....and yes tools, i use mostly goldsmith/jewelry tools, and watch repair tools, as they are very very nice tools and very high quality, yes quite expensive, but ill assure you worth every penny, and they last generations, even bought and got tools from those who work with it.

 

Oh well enough about that, that ski is now done and upgraded with alu tubes, hey, way better imo than those provided in the kit.
