The Udvar-Hazy website has 4-5 high res photo`s of their Ohka. The cockpit photo that is in their publication "In the Cockpit" isnt though. 😭

Allright, it is a short run they say, well its Mals Way or the Highway, love this challenge yes yes.....

 

When installing them bulkhead walls, look at that King Kong Gap.  well just start working then..

 

 

 

And more corrections, that had rest looked wrong and way to far to actually be any use for the pilot, and more research, there are variants, some are flush others got plate sticking up but no head rest.

 

So went dor the flush, some brutal plastic surgery then, and few hours later, sweet, now the worst is behind indeed.

To ad to the worse, lol, them instructions are incomplete it is, on pictures show parts but not in the manual lol, found one and it had, lol that part had a sinkhole like a moons crater, so need to find good pictures, couple of them behind the canopy, i dont know what they are called in english those small intakes, so will need to scratch that part/parts

Allright, did i mention the scooped half moon vent hole, well this aint good, no use try salvage that, due that sink mark change the shape of it, and no wont even try, better to put energy creating new one/ones.

Yes, do new ones, out of brass, plastic card or whatever, but found brass way easier, made a template so get the same shape if i need to replace more of them. wich may be the case.

This video sure helps me alot. provided from @Plane Thinker

 

Will redo that scooped air intake, as mine got slightly wrong shape on the backside, more straight not that rounded as i did. MarkIII will be on the way later.

To ad a good thing, only need to do 3 of them lol, so not that many, also found on that video, few more corrections, one involves create a new template for rescribe that panel, the kit do not have that detail, easy peasy.

 

Darn this build sure becoming Mals Obsession once again 😂
