It's a hard life, Mal, but I see you've accepted the challenge .

The Ohka looks like an interesting new project.

Cheers,

Michael

Haha.

Ive tried it it, fermented fish, it doesnt taste that bad as it smells, and many you tube vids show this wrong way how to prepare that dish and eat it. potatoes, sourcream, raw red onion and flat bread, the taste is hmmm hard to explain.

And if that dish were on an menu, well i would go for other options anyway LoL.

Allright, got little benchtime.

And every one got their firstimer, yes im used to PE, but never solder a seat before, ao hey why not, seen others do it and as those who know me, i often do things outside my comfort zone lol well im very curious to try ny things in modelling, as this case, solder that seat, yes this brass PE is hard, so had to annealling it, used a lighter and that curve in front of the seat bend real easilly, used drill bit and my hands.  and yes did a testrun on PE brass so get the proper temp.

Allright.

Sometimes you need to modify tools for certain tasks, used a cheap tweezer, as to hold that PE piece in place, presoldered one side, and then flux on and heated it up, and the soldering melts nicely without nothing on the sides.

and done.
