I expected the price to be what it is, but I think the concern expressed  is the shipping costs.
I'll wait until I see what I can get it shipped from Hannants for, or barring that,

it's sure to show up at Sprue Bros. sooner or later.

Sprue Brothers has been uping their prices considerably.  I noticed the TBM-3 was $40 more than at Scalehobbyist...

And they're my go to...😠

Indeed, cheap shipping is not quite free shipping. I'm not terribly far from Squadron either.

Same Bro!!! I'm in Hollywood FL... But... it's "supposed" to be free shipping.... Maybe they mean the actual driver dropping off the package, how did I miss that part!? LoL

I'll get one eventually...****, a "and better" P-51B without a bunch of surgery is a plus at our age, I'm 52... Still work and yeah! Time Bro..time! LoL

I'm all in, but pockets filled and what they empty to is a factor for me! My last name is Rodriguez and not Rockefeller so.. every penny counts... Ymmv and so will your pockets!!! LoL

I'm all good with putting hard erend coin to play and make the kit happen that I wish. Sometimes it's still a coin toss. Prices ain't what they where and we'll.. Every Penny Counts where I'm at in life... To each his own steps... LoL

Peace, still want a proper 1/32 P-51B/C... MISS-PELT!

$165 USD (even with the fact that the cockpit and wheel wells don't need aftermarket and this is a Royal Edition with a book) is too much IMO.

There is no engine, no gun bays, etc. Tamiya's P-51D gives you all that for a similar price, albeit with less detail as it's all IM. That's what I've been saying all along. The price in Euros makes more sense for what's on offer here from Eduard.

And if you don't think it needs AM, well Hannants already has a Eduard gun bay set for this kit listed and I am sure an engine will come out too. So figure another $100 or so on top to match the features (not detail) of the existing Tamiya or ZM Mustangs.

If it was priced at or close to their European price everywhere, it'd be much better value.

Sorry, folks to be the fly in the ointment.

I cancelled my pre-order at Eduard and was promptly reimbursed after I found THIS … and THIS.

It’s even cheaper in Belgium than the DBMK Sea Fury 😜

Sometimes we need the good news!

Cheers,

Quang

73 Euros is a very good price, though it depends on the postal costs, it's a minimum of 20 Euros to the UK, even for a decal sheet.

We certainly do need good news.
