Looking a little Phantom-ish ........ the nose assembly just snapped in place with the rear fuselage for the pic.

Next steps are the exhaust assembly ......18 pieces (does not include the nozzles).

Just a W.I.P of the details inside the auxiliary air doors.

Most of it won't be seen, still fun to paint.

I need to go down the road to the Pax River Museum and stick my head and camera up inside the same area of their F-4J and try to get some pics (assuming one or both engines are still installed ? No idea.

Well, I know it is a Phantom and ANY F-4 build/RFI is welcome big time, but is this in the right place? The Zoo group build?

Have we decided that animal themed artwork now counts? In the Rules of the Road thread, I saw that you thought about it, but didn’t know it was implemented. May want to update the Rules.

I'm just not that anal about it, and we always err on the side of inclusion where possible.

Between the snake themed markings and the squadron nickname Death "Rattlers" I figured it might be close and entered it.

Nothing exciting really ......fuselage .....intakes ...... and a tail mod as the jet I am doing had no extra bullet fairing at the back of the fin cap .....so had to cut it and I am working on smoothing/sanding that area.

Took off a week for a little vacation time back home in New England (NH, MA, ME) .....lobster, fried clams, scallops and New England style Polynesian-Chinese food (IYKYK).

Anyways ....just a few quick pics.
