Rutman P-38M - I am so bummed!

I have been looking for one of these on ebay for a long time, and I got a notification this morning that one popped, and by the time I could log into ebay, it was gone. 1 minute too slow. If it was one of you guys, please PM me.

Someone should 3D print a brand new conversion set. It's a missing link. Even a brand new kit of early lightning would be ever so nice.

That's my plan eventually. I just want the Rutman one as a reference. I'm doing my best to scratch up enuf techincal evidence that I can model it from, but it's scarce. I've been through nearly every P-38 related drawings in the the Aircoprs library to no avail.

Throughout the years few of those sets went through my stash. They use to be readily available. I think I purged the last one few years back.
