Magnificent build of a difficult old kit. Very much worth the effort, you've executed a very impressive model with what I know is a lot of work. The kit itself gets a lot of criticism, but even at 50+ years old it's still a better rendition than the Trumpeter. You just need patience and fluency in profanity.

I've been through a very similar build, and am crazy enough to have started another one.

Well done!

Richard

Thanks so much Richard. Truth is that your build was a real inspiration for me... it clearly demonstrated what could be done with the kit and yes, I agree that it is a better rendition that the Trumpeter - and also the Bandai kit for that matter. That said, I really do hope that Airfix re-visit it. It would be great to have a B or C variant.

Not sure I have your patience though... I don't think I could face doing another one. :frantic:

Really?! Gosh - yes of course! I'm sorry I'm not set up to take "studio" pictures - but I feel quite humbled you're happy to put it on. Thank you.

Bonkin-Beautiful build! So clean and neat, and with the ancient Airfix kit!!  I am not really a mustang guy but that is one gorgeous machine!
