I managed to remove the lower seat cushion and finish the cockpit assembly. To make the photoetch levers more three dimensional I added blobs of superglue to the knobs, a quick and easy fix. For the pilots harness I substituted Tamiya tape for the photoetch, then glued the photoetch details of the belts onto the tape. I also used Airscale decals for the placards and compass. For weathering I lightly used Tamiya dark washes and Prismacolor pencils.

We actually included buckles on the PE in case modellers wanted to use lead foil.

I believe so. There’s a notch on the back of each pedal that aligns with the mount. Since I haven’t seen the real thing I’m just going by the instructions.

Really nice work on the cockpit Tom.  And clever idea using Tamiya tape as a base for the PE seatbelts.
