The cockpit looks like it has some nice detail. Ernest Thank you Ernest! It’s been a fun build so far. 38 minutes ago, Martinnfb said: Labour of love, beautiful detail as always Tom. Uncarina Posted May 11 Author Posted May 11 I managed to remove the lower seat cushion and finish the cockpit assembly. To make the photoetch levers more three dimensional I added blobs of superglue to the knobs, a quick and easy fix. For the pilots harness I substituted Tamiya tape for the photoetch, then glued the photoetch details of the belts onto the tape. I also used Airscale decals for the placards and compass. For weathering I lightly used Tamiya dark washes and Prismacolor pencils. Cheers, Tom Shoggz, Polecadt, Madmax and 21 others 24

Andy Thank you Andy! 7 hours ago, mozart said: Are those rudder pedals on correctly Tom? I believe so. There’s a notch on the back of each pedal that aligns with the mount. Since I haven’t seen the real thing I’m just going by the instructions. 7 hours ago, scimitarf1 said: We actually included buckles on the PE in case modellers wanted to use lead foil. Greif8 Posted May 13 Posted May 13 Really nice work on the cockpit Tom. And clever idea using Tamiya tape as a base for the PE seatbelts. Ernest Uncarina 1
