Going back and forth on whether to try blue highlights on the black, but it's so big the highlights are real, and they look pretty decent as is.

 

I may paint the eyes white and see what it looks like.

Yes, larger the scale, less need for painted highlights.

It is really looking good.

I always dread putting the finishing touch on a model. Here, I think all I have to do is the eyes and a flat overcoat.

 

Meanwhile, the next print awaits....

Finally got around to the eyes, and somehow he looks even meaner now.  

 

 

 

 

Also hit the base with a couple ho hum grey drybrush tones. 

 

 

 

Pretty happy with it, but still need to blend some face touch ups and hit him with a flat sealer coat.
