These look great above. Sad that Quinta just has a drawing... It'd be good to have some photos of the actual parts.

 

Can you say what has been modelled differently between the G-6AS late and early? Also, I assume these sets @ Euro 25 are the nose, radiator, turbo intake. They do not include exhausts or prop spinner/blades. Will these parts be available in future? Thanks..

Pictures on our web page Exhaust pipes are included. 1/32 propellers  are the separate sets also available since long time ago. 1/24 props are ready and also will be available from Quinta.

I wasn't thinking with much of my brain when I asked that question! I even have the site bookmarked. I have ordered three as a sampler...  All looks very good.

 

You used to do RP3204 and 3205 which were corrected noses for the G-5/6 (Eral and Mtt/WNF) that addressed the issues around gun trough spacing, radiator shape and MG beule. Is that likely to come back under the new 3D range? I never bought one of the originals but at the price (inc postage and any customs) they're a good option to getting the kit's base version correct.

 

Please do update this thread as and when new items become available. I saw Quinta had sold out (mine was last) of the Erla G-10 set already...

Ok, Matt, i will keep you advised. Yes, I plan to repeat correction G-5/6 sets, but they will be whole nose parts, including lower cowling with oil cooler.

Great. I think that works best, rather than try to fix a bit here and a bit there. I must see if the Quinta website can inform me of new prodcuts from a particular manufacturer - that'd be very useful..

I tried to order three noses and a couple of spinner/propeller sets last night through the Quinta website, but hit a snag as it seems they can't ship to New Zealand...got a nice red notification on the checkout page saying "Shipping not available to your current address". 
I would guess it's due to the political stance our powers here have taken?
Anybody got some other suggestions on how to get hold of some? @Fencer-1

Well, if it were about political stances half the Western world would be on the 'no delivery' list..  Unless NZ customs actually block items coming from Russian Federation (is Quinta within RF)?

 

Anyway, getting the parts would be a case of asking someone to order them and then post said items on to you in NZ. Unfortunately if that was a UK citizen there'd be a 20% VAT + customs charge to add - so it becomes a bit financially tenuous to do so.

 

Maybe a LSPer who is in the same country as Quinta (I don't actually know where they are)...

Yep, I'm not sure exactly what the issue is, I know our ringmasters have imposed a fresh bunch of sanctions...and I wouldn't put it past our customs to do exactly what you have suggested.
Looking at Quinta's website, it does say they use Russia Post to ship. Bloody politics....
My folks live in the UK, and I've thought of sending the stuff via them, but as you say, the cost then becomes prohibitive....and I've got a Do17 to fork out for this year. The weak NZ Dollar is going to make that interesting!!

Bloody sanctions! I will ask Quinta managers if it is way to send items direct to NZ.

Thanks Alex, appreciate it! Although I did look at NZ Post website yesterday, and they are not receiving or sending to the Russian Federation directly according to their statement, and even third-party courier becomes a headache with declarations, customs documentation from the supplier. I can see why Quinta is saying no. It's just way too much trouble on their part. I've got my sister-in-law visiting from Australia in 7 weeks time, maybe I'll look at the option of seeing if they can send there, and then she can bring it over on her visit.
Appreciate your help. I do still have 3 of your old conversions to use, so if all else fails I still have something!!
