Stuka Posted April 2 Posted April 2 Hey Guys, I just reviewed the Omask Wheel Well Masking Plugs available from UMM-USA. These masking plugs are real time savers and are available in the "Big Boy" scale of 1/32 https://modelpaintsol.com/reviews/wheel-well-masking-plugs Thanks! --John
dashotgun Posted April 2 Posted April 2 intertesting product I wonder if you can get similar foam on amazon
thierry laurent Posted April 2 Posted April 2 I'm keeping all the sponge part protections from Eduard and Reskit sets. It is easy to cut comparable masking plugs out of them. You should not care too much about the cut shape as far as they look more or less like the bay you want to fill. They are souple enough to be used. They will not be easily reusable but as they are free... MikeC 1
Joe Hegedus Posted April 3 Posted April 3 It's pretty easy to cut your own from craft foam, available at Hobby Lobby or Michaels and most likely Amazon. HL's web site shows a 12 x 18 inch sheet of 5mm thick foam for $1.49, and that will provide enough material for a whole lot of masks. https://www.hobbylobby.com/crafts-hobbies/basic-crafts/craft-foam/black---foam-sheet---12-x-18---5mm/p/111098
