FalconFan24 Posted March 30 Posted March 30 (edited) I highly recommend picking up a scriber for Gundam/Gunpla (I don’t think it had an official name). This tool will revolutionize your scribing. It comes with .1mm, .2mm, .3mm, .4mm blades. As you can see on the wing of the P-47. These are the best lines I have ever achieved. Not even my Tamiya scriber or UMM scriber, etc. even comes close. And it only costs about $17 with shipping. Got mine off of ebay, see below: https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=gu ... m570.l1313 Edited March 30 by FalconFan24 Mal_Belford, TankBuster, BiggTim and 3 others 4 2
RCPlym Posted April 2 Posted April 2 That is what is known as a 'push broach' and is actually for 'squaring out' circular holes. Effectively it is a mini chisel. What technique are you using it to scribe? Mal_Belford 1

The thing that makes it so much better than my tamiya scriber or any scriber with a hook like design, it does not gouge into the plastic due to the hook. Rather it cuts through the plastic, leaving a really nice fine line. Mal_Belford and RCPlym 2
