FalconFan24 Posted March 16 Posted March 16 I purchased the full air set of Atom Paints. The testing followed the same method of testing with the Ak 3rd Gen. Goal is to see how they perform using my new mix formula. My biggest take away from the testing: 1) they are probably the best acrylic airbrush ready paints out there. Even when you spray them incorrectly they seem to work. 2) the color accuracy is just bad..... geedubelyer, chukw, Anthony in NZ and 1 other 4

Martinnfb Posted March 16 Posted March 16 I have the same results, shades are way off, but the paint chemistry is magical . You can brush them and they spray super easy. Uncarina 1
kwagmyre Posted March 18 Posted March 18 You can also chip the paint without chipping fluid. It chips with water for a period of time and also chips with odorless thinner. Martinnfb and Uncarina 2
Greif8 Posted March 20 Posted March 20 Some of the paint in my 60+ bottles has gotten thick; still quite usable but it does make me wonder if I am going to have issues with dried out paint down the road. Ernest Martinnfb 1
Breaker Posted March 21 Posted March 21 the lack of colour accuracy was enough for me not to bother which was a shame as they did handle nicely. Some of the FS colours where laughable. Martinnfb 1
