Popular Post Lightpainter Posted February 28 Popular Post Posted February 28 (edited) And so after a very long time I finally finished this kit of the P-40M. While the Hasegawa P-40 kits are modular to allow for multiple variants, this design requires careful filling and sanding of seams that do not fall on natural panel lines. That and a lot of self inflicted problems caused the long build period. But its finished now so I can put it away now. Almost all markings are sprayed on except the planes name on the nose. This is the result, hope you like it. scvrobeson Posted February 28 Posted February 28 It looks fantastic. Really like what you pulled off with the paint. Matt Martinnfb and Lightpainter 2
Kawaman1960 Posted March 1 Posted March 1 Very nice. I like the Hasegawa 1/32 kits and yours shows what's achievable with a bit of time and effort. The paint job is worth special mention, excellent results with just 3 colours - top job. Alan Martinnfb and Lightpainter 2

Christa Posted March 1 Posted March 1 That rugged, chunky attraction of the P 40 is right there. Great weathering too. Congratulations. Lightpainter and Martinnfb 2

nmayhew Posted March 2 Posted March 2 I love the paintwork and weathering! the panel lines especially on the white tail area look much to stark for me though everything else looks 👌 Lightpainter 1
