Good Show! 1/32 Kotare Spitfire Va and Vb Mask downloads from Hawaiian Air Depot

We've been waiting a long time for the Kotare Spitfire Vb and boy, the wait was worth it. We got busy designing stuff right away.

 

Our Mk.I camouflage masks already fit the Mk.Vs so the first thing we did was just rename the download to I/V.Then we got to work on an Essential Mask set, which provides designs to mask the canopy (inside and out), all the clear parts, both styles of prop blades, wheels, fuselage ID band, leading edge wing ID stripes, wing walks, radiator screens and the oil coolers. Here comes the best part: two full sets of roundels and fin flashed are featured, both early and mid-war styles.

 

Then we did an Overspray set that you can cut from 2 or 3mm craft foam. It will help you easily mask the cockpit, wheel wells, radiator, oil cooler and engine scoop. This one also fits the Mk.Is, if-- like us-- you still haven't gotten around to painting yours.

 

And we just dropped our first download of Addendum markings, this one for the two RAF aircraft featured on the Kotare decal sheet: PK T from 220 Squadron and QJ S from 92 Squadron. The addendum adds squadron codes and serials to the Essential masks.

 

Next we're planning some USAAF Spitfire Vs and a few more RAF options. That should keep us busy until Kotare releases a Vc. Fingers crossed.
