Popular Post Haggis Posted February 12 Popular Post Posted February 12 Hi chaps. Here's my latest, a built test shot of the upcoming Typhoon Car Door by Airscale. This has an injection moulded fuselage and tailplanes (plus clear bits) and everything else is 3D printed. Check out the build thread for phots of the build process. Paint was mainly Tamiya with MRP for the markings (Aqua for the blue), all main markings and stencils were sprayed using the indispensable 1 Man Army masking set (another prototype) and the squadron (56, my old Tornado F3 unit) codes and serials were cut on my Portrait 3 cutter. Weathering was an oil sludge wash followed by Oil Dot Weathering and dust using Ammo Oilbrushers. Look out on the YouTube channel for the build series coming soon. I did something a little different for the IFF aerials. I drilled holes in the fuselage and tailplanes, then threaded the Modelkasten elastic thread into thin brass tubing which was then inserted into the holes. Worked a treat!
