CAP Decals was started by Rob and John Colvin back in 2014 and they asked me to help with the decal art. They released two sheets, but real life got in the way and they had to take a hiatus. A few days ago, I found all of the artwork on an older PC and got to work cleaning it all up. Rob reached out to me and stated they were interested in bringing the line back and asked if I would help. My answer of course, was yes.

In 2013 I had drawn a bunch of Skyraiders for Zoukei-Mura and more Skyraiders for CAP that following year, along with their Skyhawks. While I had the mojo going, I drew several more options just for fun. I'll use some of the squadron elements I drew for Z-M on the new CAP sheets, but will obviously make sufficient changes in the form of different BuNo's/Modex, time frames, etc.

Their focus will be on early Naval and Air Force subjects, and obviously 1/32nd scale. I believe they want to do a few sheets in 48th, but the vast majority will be 32nd. Below are a few examples of the subjects I had drawn. However, many of the Skyraiders were done for Z-M, and as I mentioned above, the specific aircraft covered will differ from these. These are posted just for a visual. Oh, and the Marine AD-1 will be covered by me in the Flying Leathernecks line.

If you happen to be on the Book of Faces, stop by their page and give it a follow. It is simply CAP Decals.

If you have specific questions regarding subject matter, direct those toward Rob Colvin. I'm just the decal drawer guy!

All,
 Thanks for looking in!
Currently we are re-drawing the placement guides for 32001and 32002. Once we have them completed, printed, and packaged, we will make them available. We do not have a timeline set. Both my brother and I are doing this in our spare time.
We are looking forward to working with Flying Leathernecks Scale Creations on this venture (as builders, there are a few parts we need Dave!).
Open to all ideas/ feedback. If you are looking for some specific markings, odds are your not the only one. Please share any photos/ research you may have. I can make no guarantees, but I will review each request and give each request it's due attention.

Rob
