I watched a Revell YouTube video today that suggested re-releases of the Eurofighter Typhoon single seater, He-111 P-1, Me-109G-10 and a new Me-262 as well as the twin seat Hunter.

Scroll to 17mins 27secs for the Hunter and 18mins 40 onwards for the others.

The Typhoon is most welcome and is likely to empty my wallet even more.

Seeking out the two (one and two chair versions) I already have did some of that wallet emptying nonsense...

A bit of refinement here and there and they will result in fine models.

A new 262? I thought the one they released recently was pretty good?

He 111s ought to sell briskly as well, esp. If they change decals.

The are releasing a new version with a big canon in the nose, ME-262A-1A/U4. If you watch the Revell video in geedubelyer's post above, you'll see the new version at time 25:16.

Hunter T.7's the star for me, though I will buy a new Eurofighter Tiffie in a heartbeat if it comes in the crisper dark grey styrene.

I will need to make enquiries about ScaleModelParts' inlet trunking.

Revell are also re-releasing the ex-Matchbox Puma helicopter

Matchbox Puma helicopter

Now there's a model that needs a LOT of work to turn in to a reasonable model, ask me how I thin!

Good news about the Eurofighter re-release, despite the fact I've still got one unbuilt one some where in the attic, I think ...

Not a lot for me this year, I´m afraid.

The Hawker Hunter two-seater?

Maybe, but I already have two kits, F.6 and FGR.9 in the stash.

The only thing that made me jump was the reissue of the old Matchbox Puma helicopter!

I have hunted that kit for several years!

Re: jet Typhoon, in case you were wondering: Revell says "it now contains the extensive weapons frame that was previously reserved for the two-seat version".

Not sure how accurate those stores were but I'm surprised ResKit haven't done more for this model. We could use some of their superbly detailed pylons, including inners.

Aerocraft brass NLG leg is a must, of course (the kit part really is horribly fragile), though I've thus far resisted the canopy hood.

Oh dear, I am venturing down another rabbit hole...!

Am I missing something or is the "new" Typhoon kit not 1/48?

Revell are reissuing the jet Tiffie in both 1:48 and 1:32 scales...

The 1:32 edition comes with the extra stores sprue that previously came only with the two-seater.

We're hoping it'll be moulded in the crisper darker grey plastic used for the special edition Meteor F.8 — incidentally, the regular edition of the Meteor kit is being released later this year for about £70.

My boat is floated by one or two of these, certainly the T7 and (dare I say) the Puma. A friend of mine did a superb job on one of these some years ago, it can be done.  Also the Typhoon looks interesting.

I notice nobody has mentioned the two-seat Blackbird - that's presumably an update of their existing 1:48 kit. I know it's not an LSP within our definitions, but a quarter-scale Habu is a big model.

Thanks for the info

I will mostly be looking forward to the two seater Hunter, but good to see them re-release these kits
