Thanks Ernest. MRP paints make it so even I can lay down a nice finish.

I enjoy spraying MRP paints as well and agree they give a very nice finish.

I got a clear coat on and did the panel lines with Mig Oilbrusher black. All the major decals are applied, and all the little parts n pieces are getting painted and applied. This is the part I find satisfying. Seeing it all come together.

Nice job on the 109. It’s coming along very well. Just one more question regarding the KW decals, did you use any decal softener to get them to snuggle down?
Thanks,

Jim

No decal softener. I removed the surface detail on the kit IP then applied the decals to it. The 3D printed decal has it's own surface detail. I only left the step between the main section of the IP and the upper section. The decals are separate for both sections.

I finished up the main gear, flaps, and leading edge slats last night. I fubared the paint on one slat when for whatever unexplainable reason,I decided to pick it up to look at while the clear coat was wet...(dumbaxx) There's a do over.

Looks great Ayovan!  The black "tulip" stands out really well.

Thanks Ernest. When I started this I kind of thought it was a bland paint scheme. After getting it painted and decaled...It has a lot more to it than I first thought. All done except for a few small parts.

I'll post some pictures after it's finished

Great looking 109,👍:clap2: and they kept the Hartmann markings long after the war.

Thank you guys. Plenty of mistakes on it, but the overall look is good.

Back when I did RC planes I built several stand-off scale planes. Form a distance...they looked scale. That's kind of how this one turned out. From a distance. Just don't look too close. LOL
