Announcing “Building the Hawker Hunter in Worldwide Service”!

I’m pleased to announce that our next title will be Building the Hawker Hunter in Worldwide Service by Geoff Coughlin. This will be the sixth title in our Modeller’s Monograph Series, and will feature a similar format to our existing British Phantoms trilogy. Along with the usual historical and modelling content, the book will also contain a Foreword by former Hunter pilot Stephen Murray, and profile artwork by J.P. Viera.

 

 

Work is well under way, so stay tuned for more news and updates as they come to hand!

I’m pleased to report that all the layout work for this one has now been completed! The development process now enters the proofing and editing phase, which shouldn’t take long at all. This means we’re on track for an official release before the middle of the month.

 

Some stats:

• 958 pages;
• 55,707 words;
• 1300+ photos;
• 11 kit builds;
• 17 build galleries;
• 10 colour profiles (JP Viera);
• 10 walkaround photo sets.

As you can see, this is a massive title—the second-largest we’ve ever done, in fact—and is a must-buy for any fan of the Hawker Hunter.
