This is 1/32 Hasegawa P-40 Kittyhawk Mk.III “FR492” from No 112 Squadron RAF in Italy (1944).

Cockpit modified with Eduard instrument panel and seatbelts.

Additionnaly I used Eduard Brassin fishtail exhausts.

Paints are Gunze Sangyo acrylics.

Customized sharkmouth nose art and fuselagel code numbers are from Hobbyist Decals  (www.hobbyistdecals.com)

Happy modelling

Superb!

I happened upon a Trumpeter P-40B at a very nice price earlier today that caused expenditure.

I have never built a P-40 before, so this lovely model is bookmarked!

That's a lovely job Tolga.

Very inspirational.

If Kötare ever bring out a Kittyhawk I'm all in for a desert shark mouth.

I'm definitely bookmarking this for future reference.

Thanks for sharing.

Cheers,

Guy
