RIP Mike.  Your comments were always enjoyable, or helpful.

Indeed, he 'd always seem to come up with the funniest memes. I always enjoyed conversing with him. What's even sadder is he was waiting for Z-M to come out with their FW-190A-3, now it's out . I may have to build one in his honor, this one will be for you Mikey!

He was a character who will be badly missed. He always had supportive and clever things to say about everyone's builds, no matter what the subject. He had a way of making you feel good about progress on a build, encouraging you to keep it moving along.

Mike was one of the reasons this forum is such a great place.

Very sad to hear this. He had an infectious enthusiasm, and a ready wit.  I will always remember the "artistic licence" he created for me in a particular thread once.

Blue skies Mike. Condolences to his family.

Oh dear, LSP will be the poorer place without Mike’s daily contributions and comments. He really did epitomise what this forum is all about. Gone to the big workbench in the sky, sadly missed down here.

Frankly I was afraid of that for weeks but hoped another reason explained his absence. I started conversing with him 25 years ago and now I've wet eyes as I know I will never have the opportunity to do that again. We are just humans with a limited life but being reminded of that in such a way is always an experience we would like to avoid...RIP Mike
