Ka 52 from Trumpeter, February 2026

Having trouble inserting the image, the box art is uninspired, but the kit is coming just in time for my birthday.

Is it 1/35 or 32nd? I'd be interested to see how well they did this one. A cool looking helo.

I guess it's going to be 1/35th. There's a test build over on Rumourmonger, doesn't look too bad though it's hard to tell much from the pics. Looks to be a main rotor[s] fold and stow feature which is cool. I hope the 'A' team was on this one.  From the close up pics that I've seen ,it looks as though it's mix of raised and flush rivets and fastners, hope they get it right.

If It´s Trumpeter, then it will be 1/35th.

 

I have most of their chopper kits, all are 1/35.

Its 1/35 - its was in their 2025 catalogue. Nice to see it actually coming. Lets hope that the S-3 Viking will also materialize soon

The pics I was referring to were on line of the real thing[google up images for Ka-52], however there's pics of the test build over on Rumourmonger

Man, I love ugly helos, so now that there will be a Ka-52 kit in 1/35, I'm all in. Just hope Trumpeter used their A Team for this one. I recently finished the Hind-E and I still can't believe what a straight forward and drama-free build it was. So there is hope.
