Dave Williams Posted December 2, 2025 Posted December 2, 2025 I’ll be doing the Hasegawa/Hobby 2000 F-4 as the Gunter Rall’s “Black 1” as shown on the boxtop. Going to keep it pretty simple, using the kit decals and just a little aftermarket. Gazzas, coogrfan, denders and 11 others 14
Greif8 Posted December 4, 2025 Posted December 4, 2025 Have fun Dave! I have this kit as well and it almost got chosen for this group build but the RoG 109 won on a coin toss. Ernest nmayhew 1
Marcleon Posted December 4, 2025 Posted December 4, 2025 This is a very interesting colour scheme, and I can't argue with a Rall colour scheme! Enjoy! Marc
Dave Williams Posted February 27 Author Posted February 27 Finally got off the ground a bit. Sorry for the long delay, but been working on another non-LSP project that’s taken a lot longer than expected, plus some life event got in the way. D.B. Andrus, Dpgsbody55, Gazzas and 12 others 15
Martinnfb Posted March 5 Posted March 5 (edited) Clean and crisp ! Cheers Martin https://asisbiz.com/il2/Bf-109F/JG52/images/Messerschmitt-Bf-109F4-8.JG52-Black-1-Gunther-Rall-WNr-7308-crash-landed-Russia-28th-Nov-1941-02.jpg Edited March 5 by Martinnfb
Dpgsbody55 Posted March 5 Posted March 5 Nice looking cockpit details, Dave. Cheers, Michael Martinnfb 1
Greif8 Posted March 8 Posted March 8 The "office" looks great Dave! The RLM 66 color looks just right to my eye. Ernest Martinnfb 1
Dave Williams Posted May 14 Author Posted May 14 Still plugging along. Unfortunately, got really bogged down with another project that finally wrapped up. Don’t know if I’ll be done by the end of the month, but don’t want to rush it, because that’s usually how I screw things up. A lot of people dump on the Hasegawa 109s, but I think they are great kits with a decent amount of detail OOTB and great fit. Dpgsbody55, Kais, geedubelyer and 8 others 11
Martinnfb Posted May 14 Posted May 14 Nice progress Dave, Hasegawa's Fs and the revised G models are really nice indeed. Cheers Martin
Greif8 Posted May 15 Posted May 15 Very nice work Dave. I like the Hasegawa kits, they are easy to build and generally accurate. Ernest Martinnfb 1

Martinnfb Posted May 15 Posted May 15 right, my bad. Please ignore the G part, just a brain fart. thierry laurent 1
Dave Williams Posted May 31 Author Posted May 31 Well, I won’t make it in time. Can I please get this thread moved to WIP? Please excuse my lousy first attempt at preshading. dutik, Landrotten Highlander, Shoggz and 3 others 6
