Iain Posted November 9 Posted November 9 Today I am mostly be recovering from a long day visiting Telford International Centre yesterday - fabulous models, great friends and some fabulous new kits on the way for those of us with a Large Scale Planes addiction. I took a fair few photos on my phone yesterday - I put my DSLR back in the car as it was incompatible with the 'swag bags' I was dragging around! I need to go through the photos and upload to my website image directory so that I can share here - so I'll post here in batches as and when I get to them. First off - the 32SIG/Large Scale Planes stand was superb - and an absolute credit to these three suspects: Left to right: Mike Tayt, Dave Langmead and Roy Philpot. Back shortly with more - but I need some more coffee first... Model on Dudes! Iain Javlin1, Trak-Tor, BiggTim and 27 others 26 4

europapete Posted November 9 Posted November 9 (edited) For all the LSPers at the stand now, my mate Mike Hirsch is there to say hi for me😀 Be nice to him, he flys a Tiger Moth 👍 And is an excellent modeller Edited November 9 by europapete geedubelyer, Martinnfb and Iain 3
Iain Posted November 9 Author Posted November 9 So, Revell... The superb looking Meteor F.Mk 8/FR.Mk 9 is almost here. Luke from Revell tells me all the various parts that make up the kit are now with Revell and will be packed up as complete kits over the next couple of weeks - and then out. Personally, I can't wait to see the final package - and we may be getting a review sample for LSP - watch this space... The mouldings really look like a step up for Revell - beautifully detailed and very sharp: Stunning decal sheet: And the book that will be included in the first release: Just a little excited by this one! 🙂 Iain Tony T, patricksparks, geedubelyer and 25 others 24 4
Iain Posted November 9 Author Posted November 9 Staying with Revell, they had a mock-up of the Hunter T.Mk 7 that's due sometime later next year. The mockup uses injection moulded parts from their excellent Hunter F.Mk 6 kit, combined with 3D printed prototype parts for the relevant T.Mk 7 changes - nose, canopy, cockpit, spine, rear fuselage etc... A guide will be included to assist the modeller who wants to change the relevant engine vents on the mid-upper fuselage. I have to say, as someone who's spent a fair bit of time looking at T.Mk 7 Hunters, the shapes look spot on! Another exciting release. Iain KiwiZac, Rainer Hoffmann, Edge and 29 others 25 7
Iain Posted November 9 Author Posted November 9 In more news from Revell - another version of their excellent Messerschitt Me262s - in this case the cannon armed Me262A-1a/U4: And a built up example of their current Red Arrows Hawk: Revell's new releases leaflet for January - April 2026: Next up - Airfix. Iain Kagemusha, Tony T, Anthony in NZ and 23 others 17 9
Iain Posted November 9 Author Posted November 9 I suspect everyone on LSP is aware of the BiG Airfix 1:24 announcement of the weekend - a new tool Messerschmitt Bf109G-5/G-6. Here's the flyer: And a few images of built examples - the area was surrounded by admirers for most of the time... Next up, Kotare... Iain KiwiZac, Out2gtcha, Phantom2 and 21 others 16 8
