I wonder if I had some subconscious forethought on that. Listed my Hobby2000 kit on eBay this very morning. I’ve fought that nose section too many times and lost to be bothered with it again.

Your kit and my 6 are instantly worthless lol

I’ll be surprised if i get £20 each for them

Nice choice.  Have to say, I'm more interested in this one than the P-47.     I'm always a big fan of obscure paint jobs, anyone know if E's were kept around late war as trainers or perhaps doing ground attack missions?

I'll happily buy anything Kotare - don't give a rats what it is ... K32024 ... the P-47 was K32019 ...

I really, REALLY hope there's an E-1 cooking somewhere in that pipeline of theirs!

Nice timing too, so that by the time it's released (we haven't even hit the teens yet!) there'll be so much more generated hype for Kotare product that no one will care about the cheaper Cyber-Hobby kit.

They did mention in their recent Spitfire v 109 Video on YouTube that there were an awful lot of 109E-1’s knocking around in the early stages of the Battle of Britain when they were talking about the relative armament advantages/disadvantages of each aircraft. So its not beyond plausible that they will do earlier versions but the missing numbers could also be P-47 variants, Bubbletop P-47D, P-47M, P-47N, Special Editions of any of the P-47’s like the Brian lane Spitfire Mk.I etc

I had no interest in the 109. Until now...

Having a BoB era version to go with my Kotare Spitfires (as yet unbuilt), will be just perfect.

I still don't understand why they are not releasing a Spey Toom.

I've seen a photo of a E in later war colors probably used for training. Maybe in a Monogram book. I'll take a look.
