1/32 scale Hawker Sea Fury T.20 conversion in the works

As already announced earlier by DBMK, and on the main page of the site, I am developing the T.20 CONVERION. This is still very much at prototype stage lots more details and tweaks to be done. This will be on display at Telford 2025 this weekend, visit the DBMK stand to see it.

Hi Andy

 

Well the entire years plans have gone a little awry with, me moving house and therefore also workshop. Good progress is being made on both house and workshop, but it will be sometime in June when Aerocraft kicks into gear, HOPEFULLY, that will mean a lot of catch up and sorting. The Meteor U.16 sets are basically ready but need to go into production. Hope U.16 will be out in July., then I need to do a lot more design work on the Sea Fury, it will come with some decals, good chance these will be an option. However I think it will be nearer the end of the year before it breaks cover. Hope all modellers will be patient and understanding.

Won't be a problem for me anyway, I'm very patient - I'm still waiting for the Daco Fouga CM 170 I ordered around 18 months ago ('cos I made the mistake of telling him to hold off on sending it until the decals were available, more fool me)! Anyway, it's not like I haven't got plenty more kits to be getting on with and I'm sure the two-seat Sea Fury conversion will be worth the wait, especially if it comes with decals for a silver/yellow RN one.....

I'd like to say I was still waiting for this one, but to be honest....... I had completely forgotten!!!

I thought that just happened to me..... 😁 

 

Lately I also find myself wondering 'is there anything else I should do while I'm down here' whenever I need to bend down to tie a shoelace or pick something up off the floor.....
