Hi Guys

Even though I only got two guys come forward with a direct email to me about developing a 1/32 scale kit, I decided to go ahead. Both Chad and I wanted one so why not, at least we will have one. I am hoping that a few more join the gang so now is your opportunity. I have only a hand full ready and will be on sale at Blackbird Models stand at Telford this weekend.

If you would like to order one via the shop, and would like to get it still this year please place an order no later than the 13th November. That may even cut it tight as I need to order brass parts before Christmas shut down.

The kit has a few enhancements over the smaller scales. As mentioned brass undercarriage parts, open and closed cockpit door and canopy, decals for the instruments that fit under very thin 3D printed panels, and a set of seat harnesses 'Sutton' supplied to me via Peter at Airscale.

Thank you Denzil, you and one other will be the first to get your kits, that were not sold at Telford, they will loaded into the Royal Mail tomorrow 12th November

As one of the two,  I am delighted with this kit, and def made blasting up to Telford on the Versys worth the trip! Going home though, weather was Biblical, so I was glad to have spoken with so many old friends, and some new ones, to make the journey home again just as worthwhile!

I have always had an interest in the products of James Martin and Valentine Baker, so this kit is perfect for me. A few more experiments with Meshy...   583188778_24954907160868494_252395000299

Looking good Tim, I have been playing with Meshy myself the last few days, it is pretty cool, but it is not perfect, however I think with a bit more practice and I know that the program itself will evolve it will get better. Need to find out how to manipulate the 3d models that are created, that will go a long way in improving things.

Indeed, sometimes it works really well, sometimes it makes a right dogs dinner out of the input image, but it shows promise most definitely!

Morning,

Is it true the MB5 is to follow the previous types, as you mentioned while we talked at Telford?
Cheers
