Hi all.

My name is Andy and I am about to start on a 1/32 Zoukei Mura BF109G14 kit. I will be building a representation of a G6: YELLOW 13, flown by KLAUS LAMBIO of 9.JG300 in 1944.
I am satisfied with my collected illustrations of colours and schema, but I cannot find a single photograph in books or google searches.

Does anybody out there possess or have a link to PHOTOS of this aircraft?

I would be extremely grateful.

Well, by the illustration you have , it would suggest an Erla built -109 which would mean it has the tall vertical tail and 20mm motorkanon and not the 30mm. To me the tip off is the camo [ kind of polka dot pattern ]. I haven't been able to dig up any additional info beyond what you have. The kit DOES have everything you'll need for the 20mm motorkanon install[ it's just not called out]. I've built 2 and they are very nice kits , enjoy!

Yeah thanks guys, it is as you say.

I actually have all the background info I could possibly want, but slight variations exist between the three main illustrations I have on file, so really just looking for PHOTO evidence. Must be something somewhere because the illustrations are so detailed. I will keep trawling!

Cheers.

If you can find who did the illustration, ask them.

If one of your profiles happened to come from "The Profile Paintshop", reach out to the guy that runs it.  I had some questions on a profile of his that I was modeling, and Anders shared a bunch of info, including pics I'd never seen before.    He's a good guy.

Thanks guys
This is like in the movies where the detective says: "Follow The Money!" Doh!
I'll get right on it, and also check out the Eagle Book.
Cheers!

Hi Guys, Thanks again for your wisdom. The pic turned out to be illustrated by Claes Sundin, on commission for the Lorant/Goyat JG300 books, so general bullseye there!
He was kind enough to supply me with two photographs and a hi res jpeg of his illustration. Since he is selling books of these pictures from his online shop, I offered him money but he was all thumbs up and a slap on the back.

If any of you are interested I have started my work in progress blog here:

Thanks again. See you in the line-wash!
