Rick K Posted November 2 Posted November 2 Our lovable Labrador took a liking to chewing on my Revell 1:32 Me262B kit. Thankfully only took an interest to the carton. It's pretty chewed and cannot be closed. If anyone recently finished this build and yet to throw the box in the bin, I'd be happy to take it. Trade considered. Thanks - Rick
MikeC Posted November 2 Posted November 2 I'm afraid I can't help directly, but there is another way, a way in which you don't need a closable box: build it.

Tony T Posted November 3 Posted November 3 If the outer packaging is perished I store the unmade kits in plastic lidded crates. The types you get from supermarkets to store sundry household stuff, stacked in my study. SOD projects are also stored this way. They are fairly animal-proof too. Tony
jwest21 Posted November 4 Posted November 4 I had this happen. I just went to Lowe's and bought a small clear plastic bin with a lid for a couple dollars.
Juggernut Posted November 4 Posted November 4 (edited) If he's anything like me, he wants an original box to keep the model in; if for no other reason than it just prevents the anxiety of looking at an "out of the ordinary" stash member, keeps the originality of the kit and I completely get it. In the event he ever wants to sell/trade it, an original box is better than a bag or a tupperware container. Makes me wish I had one to donate.
