Hopefully! I have two questions regarding your remarks. First, the tailplanes: can you explain further about what should be added and removed and where? Second, the pylons differences: are they limited to some panel lines or is the store hanging/ejection system noticeably different as well?

I'll dig it out later and show the differences compared to the very accurate new-tool Airfix 48th kit parts - when I recall what towers they are in! 🤣

Thanks. By the way the kit looks very close to a set of plans I have in one of my dozen of Jag books. It looks we may be again in front of the dreadful inaccurate plans syndrom...

I have one drawing from decades ago that agrees with the known accurate new tooled Airfix kit, so I'll accept that as a decent target to aim at.

Others I have found are good or bad in various areas.

And do you remember which one?

It may also be worth looking at Timmy!'s amazing long-term work in progress:

Have that bookmarked months ago... A work of art!

By the way I compared the pylons of the two kits and they are clearly different as the full scale ones are. However I'm wondering which source they used to add the details on the British ones...?!? Welrd! I'm now understanding what you meant.
