Thanks. By the way the kit looks very close to a set of plans I have in one of my dozen of Jag books. It looks we may be again in front of the dreadful inaccurate plans syndrom...

I have one drawing from decades ago that agrees with the known accurate new tooled Airfix kit, so I'll accept that as a decent target to aim at.

 

Others I have found are good or bad in various areas.

By the way I compared the pylons of the two kits and they are clearly different as the full scale ones are. However I'm wondering which source they used to add the details on the British ones...?!? Welrd! I'm now understanding what you meant.
