truly wonderful work on a truly awful kit!!

There's one on ebay for less that £70, and the 205 is on sale at Jadlam for £69, but the more i read the build reviews, the more i think they should be giving these away, not charging close to what i can get a Tamiya Spitfire for

Gilles your detail work is superb - Italeri doesn't deserve you! 🙂

Just saying Italeri job is not so in scale regarding panel lines.

Your job, by other side, is outstanding.

Hello my other friends !

I'm very happy to read your kind messages too 🙂

Sorry for the late reply and my absence from LSP, but in all confidentiality, I am currently spending a lot of time in hospitals due to some health issues !

Nevertheless, I have been able to work on installing the “flame arrestor” on the exhaust pipes.

Hello, great work on the louvres, but :

This part of the cowl isn't that of a 202 but that of a 205. Italeri copied the one from Vigna di valle which is'nt completely authentic,

the spinner is also not authentic.

To correct this part of the cowl, you have to delete this panel and engrave at the place another louvre.

All the best !

Good evening everyone

I have finished modifying the engine cover.

Thank you Baffozac 👍

I hope that is correct because not easy to do !

About the propeller spinner, I am aware of the problem, but I will keep the Italeri one as I have no other choice. ........ at this time !!!

Have a good night and Best Regards to all.

That's a very neat solution to mounting those exhaust shields.  Nice work.

Hope you make a speedy recovery.

Hello Michael,
Thank you very much for your message, which means a lot to me.
I'll know more on December 4th...

Concerning the MC202, I'll be starting work on the cockpit soon.

Wishing you a speedy recovery!

During my hospital stays my wife would bring my tool box and a model to work on.  I was on Intensive blood thinners.  One day the doctor walked into my room only to see me with a #11 Xacto blade carving plastic.  He went berserk!  No more hospital model building for me.  :D

First - I wish you a great report on your health issues GIlles, I will keep my fingers crossed for you my friend.

The flame surpressor is fabulous work, from paper on the instructions through perfectly constructed and painted, wonderfully skilled work!  And a perfectly seamless engine cover as well, great bench session!

Hello friends,

Sorry for not visiting more often, but for several weeks now I've been spending a lot of time in hospitals undergoing a long course of next radiotherapy.
Nevertheless, I've been able to make progress on the cockpit, and I'll be posting photos soon !

In the meantime, I wish you all a happy Sunday.

Best Regards

Gilles
