The varnish is quite thick; I’d say you need to thin it down to a ratio of one part varnish to three parts thinner. It leaves a decent dry film, and with two coats you get a practically perfect gloss. There’s a little secret. For the second coat, I add more thinner than in the first. It dries to the touch quickly. After a day, you can apply decals, wash, etc. It’s resistant to abrasion and scvrobeson 1
Sasha As Posted April 24 Author Posted April 24 I applied some decals. I liked them; the thin ones adhered perfectly to the surface. denders, RCPlym, Gazzas and 7 others 10
Sasha As Posted April 24 Author Posted April 24 I never managed to find out whether there was a badge on the rear section of the fuselage. In many cases, it had been painted over. I only transferred it to the engine cowling. Whether the area beneath the cockpit canopy was painted in the interior colour is also unclear.
