If any of you "insane hoarders", in EU, have an old 1/32 Revell Me 110 C-4 to sell.

Then please PM me.

This tread makes me feel right at home, I´m not alone....  :D

My stash are all over the place but here´s some numbers;

I started building kits again in the winter of 2000, so all numbers are from that point.

My stash of unbuilt large scale kits (1/32, 1/35 and 1/24) today (210 Aircrafts, 15 Helicopters and 1 space) ;  226 total

Started kits; 28 aircraft and 10 Helos

Finished ; 44 Aircraft and 1 Helo

I build everything in all scales, but my bread-and-butter are 1/48th aircrafts, from dawn of flight right up till today, military and civil.

A small part of it;

I notice that Dave/Ironman1945 has I bet,  all the remaining unbuilt Hobby Craft P-51 kits on the whole world.  Six of them!  The big question is, do you have the resin cockpits for all of these?  The company that made the cockpit was located in Russia.

I bought five of them when none one cared. The kit was so “fatally flawed”. It does need love. Now people like me cut them up to kit smash with the Revell P-51D.

My collection is moderate; Mostly 60 1/32 kits, a few 1/24 cars and 6, 1/16 tanks. The older 1/32 vacs are moving out as the styrene replacements come available. My problem is I still have 26 unfinished kits from my working era.  I could assemble them but not get on with the airbrush.  Too much setup time. It is hard to go back to the era where projects at work had to get done.  Not home enough for the hobby. Not the models.  I pop the boxes now and not much energy breaks loose. Lately I have been doing a build rotation with 3 AFV: Marder IIIh conversion,  Panzerflak I conversion and ‘251 half track with PAK 40.  These seem to interest me much more. The struggle continues.

Hey Rick!  In fact yes, I do have the resin cockpits... at least, I have them for the A-36 and the P-51A. As far as I know, they never did one for the Mustang Mk1A. Or at least, they never did one at the time I did this.  I agree the kit needed some love, but I didn't find it to be fatally flawed. I had a lot of fun with it.

Cheers!  Dave/Ironman1945

I see you are from Holland.

I would be interested in the Hurricane if you"probably will never build it"

Hi Erwin,

Sorry, I do not want to get rid of kits now.

I'm sure I've said this before, but I refuse to make any statement regarding any stash I may, or may not, possess without a very good lawyer being present...

😉

What I will say, however, is that I may have a lot of building to do - and really need to extract a digit.

Oh, and sell some off. Perhaps...
