For those struggling with Vallejo primers.....new how to video

If all your going to say is "use this instead", realize you are not helping. Some modelers don't have any alternatives, thus I want to help with the tools they have. 

I am not a fan of Vallejo primers but hopefully this video will help teach you how to obtain the best out of them.

I tried acrylic water-based primers like Vallejo and Mig-Ammo years ago without success. Didn’t bin them but put them on the shelf of doom and returned to my trusty Mr Surfacer 1200 from Gunze.

Until several months ago, I stumbled on a YouTube video showing how to use them PROPERLY. It worked wonder 

The secret is NOT to dilute them so much even if they seem to be thicker than what we’re used to.

And secondly, leave them untouched at least 24 hours to settle down and harden. The result is a tight, smooth and hard semi-gloss skin impervious to any kind of paint you may cover it with.

Good informative video, but they're still a hard pass for me. There are other primers out there that are much more user friendly, and i never have to worry about the three issues listed. Now, if Tamiya spraybombs would be cleared for Canada, life would be good!!
