I just picked up my 1/48 scale A-1E from TTModelworks here in Houston, TX.

What an awesome kit! I am not a Skyraider guru but I simply love the kit. 100% improvement over the

old Matchbox kit. And it is priced less that what it will cost to buy a Tamiya plus a Matchbox kit to make the E.

Not to mention the weeks worth of work savings.

I am not associated with TTmodelworks what so ever, in fact I just met the guy a the Houston ModelMania show and saw the kit there.

I knew I had to buy one.

Now for sure I will order the 1/32 scale kit as well.

Good to hear! Iḿ awaiting my 1/32 one.

Same here. I don't know where I am on the preorder list ,probably pretty far down as I only ordered mine in January. It'll be ok.

Thai said he would ship mine on the 1st of June. I have emailed him to get that confirmed, but I got no response. As you said, I am confident he will follow up.

I just met him here in Houston and he is a very nice fellow. He is super exited about the project. I know for a fact he had printer problems so the kit production was delayed. I will meet with him again this week and I will express you all's concerns to him.

Again, I have no association with TTmodelworks other than an exited customer that finally got a nice A-1E.

Are there any 1/32 scale A-1E decals out there?

None. AoA decals did propose a VNAF sheet, but after Paul Fisher sadly lost his home/business it was shelved, they do have a couple of single seat VNAF sheets available which might get you most of the way...

How are the clear parts?    I've always wanted an A-1E but for me, the total lack of decals is probably a deal breaker.   Any USAF SEA A-1E I would want to build can't be cobbled together from scrap decals.

What total lack of decals? This is TTmodelworks, NOT Dodo Products

I was going off the post above but that said, the sheet included doesn’t have any subject that interests me.    Not a slag on your product, just my own preference.       Any pics out there showing the assembled canopy?   Really curious how that looks built up.
