Stuka Posted June 16 Posted June 16 This is a new book by aviation author Chris Banyai-Riepl that utilizes photographs from his father's extensive library of quality aviation photographs. Will Riepl was an accomplished modeler but fortunately for us, he was very handy with a camera. The book features pictures of NAS Seattle both "then and now" as well as an extensive collection of Naval aircraft in their element. Of note are the photographs of AD-5 Skyraiders and T-28 Trojans complete with well-worn, exhaust-stained airframes. https://modelpaintsol.com/reviews/naval-air-station-seattle-warchive-photo-series-vol-1 This book will serve as an awesome reference for those looking to replicate the looks of a well-worn Skyraider Thanks for reading along! --John Shoggz, Martinnfb and John1 3
