I need my head seeing to asking, the number of non Royal Mail deliveries is annoying to say the least, nothing delivered on the day/time initially stated, better to be blissfully ignorant, like the high, high fliers running the shambles. Untracked and it is unusual for them to have arrived! As you are saying, it is very much the same here recently. Things appeared to start going downhill just after the outfit was sold again. Long serving posties are leaving left right and centre and we get different new ones every day! Martinnfb and airscale 2

That's sad to hear it's happening elsewhere, it's a bit of a relief not knowing when it's supposed to arrive, thanks for the heads-up they're on the way. The kit is a joy to behold, and savour. From the way it is presented to the quality of paperwork and kit parts, it really is something special! Peter Airscale Pro has created a masterpiece! (Until his next one tops it...!!!) dennismcc Posted March 6 Posted March 6 Thank you Peter my lower wings arrived safe and sound today though from the sound of it I am quite lucky as Royal Mail are not that reliable anymore. Just waiting for the Fairey Fulmar now. Cheers Dennis airscale and Martinnfb 2
Cycling Guy Posted March 10 Posted March 10 (edited) Hey! Reporting in from the USA. I received my kit yesterday and everything arrived intact and still attached to the supports. This is in stark contract to the Jetmads Viggen which had multiple parts broken off. A quick inspection of the parts showed that the layer lines are a lot less pronounced than I expected and wont be visible once primed and painted. The ones that are present (unavoidable on some curved surfaces or to ensure the part was oriented and supported to prevent warping) can easily be smoothed out with a quick application of liquid putty or sanding. The instructions are very well done and the quality is top notch. I'm thoroughly impressed and inspired. I look forward to starting this in the coming days. airscale Posted March 12 Author Posted March 12 evening folks I have been a busy little bee while the Dornier IM parts design is being audited by the mouldmakers.. I have developed the Bubbletop conversion and have the clear parts coming from DBMK from their Sea Fury (thanks Will!) I have decided I will introduce a kit bundle with the conversion, and to offer the stand alone conversion to existing customers. They (& bundle pre-orders when I launch them in a week or so) will exculsively get the 44 Gal wing tanks, otherwise the kit & conversion will just come with rockets. Should be out in April. I think it turned out rather well The set includes: New sidewalls and door infills New Exhausts New 'Cuckcoo Clock' Radiator & Dust Filter New Windshield & Blown Canopy (From DBMK Sea Fury) New rear deck parts New Gunsight mount 8 × RP-3 rockets & Rails 44-gallon external fuel tanks (exclusive to original customers & bundle pre-orders) so there we go - I am pleased that came together & thanks to all for their continued support & encouragement TTFN Peter Kagemusha, patricksparks, dennismcc and 29 others 30 2

Nothing like a bit of mould flow analysis to sharpen the senses! Haha!! Dornier incoming then! Outstanding! One for me Mrs. Wembley! Oh! And a bubble top for me second Tiffy of course! Now I can model one of the devils that sank my grandfathers minesweeper! Edited March 12 by RCPlym airscale and Martinnfb 2
Cicchino Posted March 12 Posted March 12 This is excellent news, and I've actually prepared my wife for the purchase - it's all the other new kits that will get me in trouble! Big decision to make now: do I start the Defiant or the Typhoon once it arrives first? Five years ago it would have been a question I wouldn't have have a need to ask. We truly live in very good modeling times! Thank you Peter (and all the other manufacturers!) Regards, John Martinnfb, airscale and geedubelyer 3
Martinnfb Posted March 12 Posted March 12 (edited) William will go completely nuts about this @williamj Check out the way the glass s installed over the top of the framing. In other words ,, don't be that guy who paints frame on the forward edges Edited March 12 by Martinnfb Anthony in NZ, KUROK, Kagemusha and 3 others 6
JayW Posted March 13 Posted March 13 Peter - gobsmacked!! I KNOW how you did this. Digital design allowed you to do this seamlessly. Similar to waht was done for real in the '40's. Well done. Here here. Bravo. airscale 1

mozart Posted March 13 Posted March 13 Hmmm: There appears still to be a narrow “wrap around” edge? Gazzas, Mal_Belford and DugyB 3
