and here is the MK1 version, those who know me know that i test build before even considering to mount it on a model.

Used the sacrifical canopy as test piece... Yes its been removed without a fuzz.

Used a light blue to enhance so im seeing what im doing, dont bother the grainy surface, as it only a test.

It contains 4 Pieces, two pieces plastic card and one piece guitar string and one alourod.

Looks like it will work hey, better than the model, few adjustments needed.

And fitting it just to check....yes yes.

img20781.jpg

Dont want to drill on this resin canopy yet before im 100% confident where to drill.....last thing i want is to order a new one theese are crazy hard to come by.

Those masks provided with HPH didnt fit any good and the Monex nope, so a combo of them, and some masking tape...and dont worry will go over with a rubber pencil to press them airpockets so less risk of leaks...

My son was re-stringing his guitar the other day and "confiscated" his old ones. Figured if I am paying for new strings, I may as well get some use out of them as well. LOL

Been workin on this project, might look slow, but its not, detailing takes time.

enough talning and over to this evenings update.....

More PE Origami for the canopy...

img_2847.jpg

Even added a small turning knob...

img_2848.jpg

And and a lever...

img_2849.jpg

And added that lever on the back canopy, yes did a ball knob on it, do not like flat PE part.

img_2850.jpg

And those handles for the pilots canopy, the base is way to thick.

img20783.jpg

The one ln the left is trimmed down, way better imo.

img20784.jpg

And in place....also added those triangular shaped PE parts.

reference pic.

Try to replicate them. 0.4mm alutube.

Yes better than the models, and no, i wont paint them, as like that metal look...

img20787.jpg

Nah...of course they will get paint.

img_2858.jpg

And painted them stands...

img_2859.jpg

Also fixed those edges, after removing the sacrifical  canopy...sanded with 2500grit and painted.

Yes..all this will do just fine for me.

Thanks @scvrobeson . Yes, as it is quite naked without them.

Try to ad as much as possible as long as it ads to the whole such in this case, make it look interesting, that is many times the real challenge part, find a ballance in the build and overall impression.
