Well, I'm back in France after spending some amazing days in London.
I tried to follow your advice as much as I could , the only thing I missed was visiting the Belfast.
The IWM was absolutely mind-blowing with the variety of stuff on display, the Battle of Britain monument was stunning and really moving, and of course, the RAF Museum is just pure aviation heaven!
I even managed to squeeze in a quick visit to the British Museum!

A huge thank you to Mike C, who went out of his way to welcome me!

It was such a strange but awesome feeling meeting someone for the first time and yet feeling like you've known them forever…

Thanks so much, Mike, for your warm welcome and your deep knowledge of aviation.
Our French/English (and vice versa) translations were a bit shaky at times, but when you're speaking the language of passion, you always manage to understand each other!

Looking forward to seeing you again soon, my friend, maybe Shuttleworth? Duxford?

And for the rest of you living around London (or even a bit further out :wicked:) don’t forget to keep a cold lager in the fridge for me, ‘cause I’ll be back soon to see you guys!

And of course, a big thanks to everyone who gave me all this info so I could do the visits.

LSP is more than just a forum!

It was my pleasure Denis.

You can’t beat a bit of Franglais to help communication! School days French of 64 years ago at least. Next time lads, tout va bien n’est pas?

Hey Fabrice.

Nah, I hope I won't spend too much – you'll be there to stop my credit card from melting down!

Great stuff guys!

Denis, you've definitely made the most of your sojourn in London!

Richard, remind me to buy a second pair of feet!

My son got an Airbnb in Camden — it’s a super lively area at night.

I really loved the whole nighttime vibe, kinda wet and wild… and nope, I’m not talking about the rain!  :beer4:

Fabulous pictures…..have I mentioned Typhoons in the past, don’t quite remember but thanks for the thought! :P:D

And no Max, you're not obsessed with just one thing, of course not...

Yep, it's far to the north, easy to get to, and equally important, easy to get away from.

I believe they have the only Hawker Typhoon in existence, the Tempest is next to the Thunderbolt - beauty and the beast.

The Jug was taken apart (wings and fuselage separated), same for the P-40.

The Tempest looks awesome, but I kinda wish it had a DG/OG camo instead of the NMF...
