Could use some aftermarket details - like underwing cannons to make a IId or a IV
But, IIc land based variant would be an easy conversion.

Agreed, I believe the aftermarket will respond, we just gotta be patient. I'm duly impressed with the MKIIB build so far.

Leave off the hook and fill it's locating voids.

Or wait for the non-sea version, likely later this year.

I imagine it's possible the relevant parts for a standard non-naval Hurricane are on the sprues and marked "not for use": we'll no doubt see when the kit finally gets here, or even when the test shot images hit social media.  But if not, it's a simple enough job.  I rather think there will be catapult points to be dealt with too, and not all Hurris had the prominent headrest, but still a simple enough job.  Meanwhile, to keep appetites whetted, here's a photo of our Sea Hurricane from Shuttleworth - it's a Mk I, but it's a Sea Hurricane.

Now that's nice, can almost hear that merlin growl !  I always seem to struggle with choosing the right colors for a temperate sea   scheme, but I like it nonetheless.

There are three options in the kit, including a predominantly grubby white one and a blue/gold racer.

Of the 3 scheme decal options, it appears that the blue bird is not a Sea Hurricane.

Thank you Revell

Looking at the Ker-Plunk! stack of sprues pic from Revell there are parts for both Sea and non Naval Hurricanes included.

Had a look at the new variant at Euro Model Expo last month. Mostly new wing parts and some minor stuff added to the basis kit. Looked fine, but I didn't take photos.

Yep, certainly seems that way! Just swap out the arrestor hook fuselage part for this one, omit the catapault hooks and you should be good to go!!
