alain11 Posted March 21, 2025 Posted March 21, 2025 (edited) I like this little flying egg !! very nice rendition ......hat off I tried to get my hand on this kit , but unavailable for now , Halbertmodels who's based in Ukraine has some 3 D print troubles Alain his reply to my mail "This is due to the fact that after the missile strikes on the Ukrainian power grid, we have periodic power outages, and for this reason we cannot maintain a stable temperature in our workshop, at 20-25 degrees Celsius, for two days, which is necessary for the polymerization of the transparent resin from which the glazing for the kits is made. As soon as the air temperature rises to 15-18 degrees, we will immediately begin casting and the kit will be available again." Thunnus Posted March 21, 2025 Posted March 21, 2025 Ahhh... there it is! Still working on my rendition so this is a very helpful and inspirational reference! How tricky was separating the canopy?
geedubelyer Posted March 21, 2025 Posted March 21, 2025 Superb finish on this quirky and offbeat model. Thanks for sharing and congratulations to Halberd for being brave enough to bring this subject to market. It looks like they've done a splendid job. Cheers. Stefano 1

Plm Posted March 22, 2025 Author Posted March 22, 2025 Quote Still working on my rendition so this is a very helpful and inspirational reference! How tricky was separating the canopy? Hello, no too difficult, I drilled holes around the separation line, used a new blade and some files to finish the job. The remaining part was more flexible, it helped to better adjust it to the fuselage.
Rod Bettencourt Posted March 22, 2025 Posted March 22, 2025 What a cool build!! Thanks for sharing. Rod
