That's me! Im about to apply paint to the model - well I need to wrap up Part 2 of the series, then I can get painting.

Hopefully will have the next film up this weekend.

Cheers

Welcome aboard Sam. Great chat with Mark Robson and nice review of the kit.

Thanks for sharing.

Since yours is a test build are you permitted to create a work in progress thread?

Folk would love to see how this one fits together in detail.

Looking forward to seeing your next vid soon.

Hi - sadly the ship has sailed a bit with an in progress build thread. Ive got construction mostly done and it's ready for paint.

I published the next instalment in the interview and kicked off the build here:

That's staggeringly good, if anyone was on the fence about buying the kit, I don't think they will be after watching.

This is looking like a must have model.  I'm still disappointed that there's no engine in Kotare kits, but their kits are still a joy to build.  Also, it's good to see an accurate K in the 109 series in LSP.  I can think of someone else's  LSP K that is just a reboxed G.

Michael

Yes indeed! When I heard about Kotare planning their K-4, I went and found a set of AML decals for white 5. Must have a night-fighter K-4:clap2:

Turning the mud, finding orientation in drizzle and fog: the Messerschmitt-Regensburg built G-10s (not so many) and the G-6 AS and G-14 AS (rather frequent) have a lot in common with the K (concerning profiles) but would need nearly completely new electrodes and molds due to different surface features. Now we have two renowned manufacturers sharing one renowned designer. Who has hands on these  DB 605 AS models ? Will there be a solution ? Or is it a simple as that ? A K is a K and a G is a G.

welcome Sam

for those don’t know Sam, he does some epically good WWII armour and I’m sure his foray into aircraft will be just as good!
