dutik Posted March 20 Posted March 20 I have a soft spot for toon tanks and aircrafts, so I've built one more, placing it into a little diorama. Under construction: The body is a conversion made by Retrokit from Belgium for Mengs Pz. 38. I've added my own parts to finally convert it into a Swiss Hetzer - equipment box (a former bathroom cabinet from tabletop), armored sight (a headlight), spare track holders with spare track links for a 1/35 scale Hetzer, a new, better toolbox at the fender, larger muffler, a jack and tools leftover from another scale tank build, a spare wheel (which forced me to buy a second Hetzer kit...), some gizmos and a new frontlight. The MG is another set from Retrokit. Regards - dutik nmayhew 1
dutik Posted March 20 Author Posted March 20 And finished: "At the toblerone line" The Toblerone line is real. Nowadays it is a hiking trail in Switzerland, but in WW2 it was a formidable defense line towards Germany. It earned it's nickname - you gues it - from the shape of the dragon teeth constructed there. They really look like the famous Toblerone chocolate bars.
