"Hello from proud Canada !

For your information.

A renowned Canadian model maker who wishes to remain anonymous for the moment have recently started a quite interesting project for a 1/32 scale kit

of the Canadair CT-114 Tutor.

Initially started as a 1/48 project in 2022, and with the arrival of the Kinetic offer to come at this scale the project have now evolved to be at 1/32 scale.

This Canadian model maker will eventually identify himself here on this new topic and send us detailed updates on his project.

The modeling of the project is 90% complete.

If all goes well, the kit could be scheduled for release in the fall of 2025.

It will be completely produced in 3D printing resin except for the canopy which will be made of two clear injected plastic parts allowing closed or open

cockpit options.

Two cockpits will be available :

The legacy analog cockpit and the brand new digital glass cockpit integrated last year on the current Tutor Snowbirds fleet .

Pilots are also planned, one in a standing position and one in seated position.

The decals will be produced by an internationally renowned decal printer and will include markings of the ''Snowbirds'' canadian national team (2024 version)

and the ''Golden Centenaires'' national team of the 1967 era.

The quantities to be produced are not yet known
For the moment,  this canadian model maker has allowed me to share with you some 3D / CAD images of his project."

Thanks for posting. What a lovely little aeroplane. Never seen them fly but love "the big 2" red and aluminium scheme on 114120 shown above.

The clear injection moulded canopy parts also render the build much more "doable".

I saw the "Snowbirds" fly quite a few times . Cool little jets , I'm game bring it on!

I see them pretty much every Labour Day weekend as they have been the closing act in the CNE airshow as far back as I can remember.

Here's a pic when they flew with the CWHM Lancaster a few years ago.
