And ill asure you i really enjoy every moment of this build. its hard and difficult for a first timer in this, but hey who doesnt love the challenge, we all been there once, so hey virginity is lost here nowin this for me 😁 Edited May 2 by Mal_Belford Martinnfb 1
LSP_Ray Posted May 2 Posted May 2 Incredibly well done! Now I want to see what you can do with a 1/200 Yamamoto! Just think, everything you have done on this ship times 6, at least! Martinnfb and Mal_Belford 1 1
Shoggz Posted May 3 Posted May 3 That is all so good that I did something I rarely do - I showed my wife the picture of the tiny helicopter on your finger and she was amazed. Skill like that is observable even to those who aren’t fixated on this hobby! Mal_Belford and Martinnfb 1 1
Archimedes Posted May 3 Posted May 3 The floatplane, the helicopter, the ship….. 😍😍😍😍😍 Wow. I already thought Soya was fantastic in your hands but the the two aircraft are simply amazing. (Sweeps cap off and bows head in respect). Kind regards, Paul Martinnfb and Mal_Belford 1 1

Mal_Belford Posted May 3 Author Posted May 3 (edited) Allright, as firstimer building ship....well firstimer rigging then lol. Used two different rigging material, one thats stiffer, as eanted that weight down wire on them booms, and ez line. all this build been very very fun to fo, and yes share it with you all. got few things left before i say its finnished. Also, that vind director, PE, 2D.....nope want 3D, so cut that top part and do a new one, alu rod, and in place, way better. Javlin1 Posted May 3 Posted May 3 (edited) Alright Mal first things first BIGGER pics I want it like I am at a movie theater that big ....looks Great Mal then the case for enclosure. Edited May 3 by Javlin1 Mal_Belford and Martinnfb 1 1
Mal_Belford Posted May 3 Author Posted May 3 will take final pics when im completely done.... Only thing left is the stand, as got idea how to paint and weather it and fit the model just fine. But it will have to wait since wont be home for a week. Martinnfb 1
Javlin1 Posted May 3 Posted May 3 Mal I always made my bases a bit longer than the build and as to weathering none is needed just pic a nice darker wood it will accentuate the build nicely. This is a small 1/350 Japanese destroyer notice the base. Mal_Belford, LSP_Ray and Martinnfb 3
Mal_Belford Posted May 3 Author Posted May 3 WoW....looks fantastic that destroyer. Ill use the stant thats included in the kit, as the lne model.i standing on now, and yes filled the bottom with coins and old keys 😁 to get some weight, more stable. Got an idea how and what to do with it...
