hi gents

How to make a suitable black/yellow ejection handle .... easily... I don’t like this kind of thing, I mean paint it, the result is never satisfactory. A fellow modeler ( thank you mate !!) gave us an easy and nice way to nail the thing...... let’s start with... first paint in black a length of cable ( with an air brush )... then turn it to 180 degrees and paint it yellow... Okay??? Easy! Isn't it ? .

Attach one tip to a clamp, and the other end to a hand chuck, then gently turn the chuck; the yellow and black twist would appear, turn even more until you are satisfied with the result and off you go! .....You should better use copper or brass wire, which will be more resistant to torsion    ... hope the tip will be useful ;)

cheers

Alain

Indeed!  One question I have:  Does it matter what type of paint it is?  I'd imagine some kinds of paint would just flake off as soon as the wire starts being twisted.
