With the 1/32 Boulton Paul Defiant heading for production and a Spring release, it is time to start thinking about what is next. I have two subjects that I think would be popular, but of course will listen to options (sorry, no Jets yet :) ) please choose one, or drop a comment with what you would like to see

No promises, but if the Defiant sells, I definitely want to bring more 'MIA' aircraft to 1/32

Thanks in advance

Voted….Typhoon obviously! The Henschel 126 is an interesting and neglected, some say under-rated aeroplane but can’t compete in any way with the brute force of the Tiffy. I’m not prejudiced at all of course! :D It will be fun to watch how this develops….and thank you Peter for the vox pop.

I have a firm conviction that Kotare will do both a Typhoon and Tempest. If Peter is only looking at single engine types (and I can’t have an Anson 😭) then I’ll vote for the Hs-126.

Kind regards,

Paul

Would you ever consider upscaling the Defiant to 1/24?

I voted for the Hs 126, Special Hobby have a Car Door Typhoon listed at Hannants, though no photos of any developed kit have ever been released, it would be a shame to spend time, effort, and money developing a kit, which is usurped by an IM release, which has happened countless times with Silver Wings, and HpH with their Ar 196.

And how long has it been listed there Andy?

I know, but the Yak 3 was listed for longer, did eventually see light of day, it's a tough call.

This is a worry for sure, I guess all manufacturers have this problem when choosing subjects, so while my turnaround may be months, not years, I don't want to be in a bad place with it.. the same may apply for the HS126 for all I know too - maybe ICM? That said, I am determined not to not do something because someone else might :)

Interesting proposals but I’d prefer an Avro Anson please.

:) a twin might be a bit ambitious right now, but at some point who knows :)

Yes, when the production run is done and I don't need the machines running 24/7 - by commission only I would

interesting aeroplanes for sure... one brute force, sleek and pretty straightforward..

..the other, surprisingly large, intricate, unusual and probably bloody hard to kit with all that bobbins going on :)...
